Apophenia is the first duo release by Jean D.L. and Otto Lindholm and we are very happy to welcome both musicians in our label family. The album was recorded during three night sessions at Lindholms studio, after both musicians met at a Gizeh Records label night in Belgium, curated by our friend and label associate Richard Knox.

Apophenia is the raw and powerful result of those nightly studio sessions. The duo creates dark soundscapes and drone moments. Its not continuously obvious which sounds are created by guitar or double bass, because the musicians push each other into fascinating sound dimensions. So the album title is a very fitting description for the sounds you will hear.
