“ A most ambitious effort by Randy Greif has been remastered/repackaged/rereleased by the moguls of eclectic-listening at Soleilmoon. A major undertaking by any measure, Greif's transmutations of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland span roughly six hours on five CDs, venturing into multitudinous areas of sonic alteration, mixing fairly straight oratory parts with abstract musical presences, murkily rendered soundscapes and drastically altered phonetic sculptures...........Granted it's an awesome project, but for those whose ears aren't so attuned to the esoteric, I can imagine that this work could become ponderously overwhelming. Fortunately, there are "tracks" breaking the whole into more easily digested parts. Despite a lot of spoken word (and even a musically maligned song or two), the tracks are abstract enough to provide ambient listening, though you'll generally want to pay attention to see just how much more bizarre things can get. ” [from an AmbiEntrance review]
