"Final ist JK Broadricks erstes Projekt überhaupt. Gestartet im Alter von 13 (!) Jahren war Final immer eine Experimentierplattform des Ausnahmemusikers von Napalm Death, Godflesh, Techno Animal, Jesu. Mit "3" kommt nun ein weiteres, eben drittes, Album mit über 2 Stunden an obskurer, dunkler Musik heraus, das sich in einem weitgehend freien Raum von Ambient, Drone und Industrial bewegt. Klaustrophobie auslösende wie auch sphärische Klangcollagen entstehen auf "3", dunkle Räume werden geöffnet, man schreckt zurück, findet aber auch Ruhepole von emotionaler Tiefe und Bewegung. Entstanden ist das Material dieser Doppel-CD zwischen 2000 und 2006. Eine Schwierigkeit ist vielleicht die immense Länge des Albums, in einem Durchgang kommt da wohl niemand durch. Eigentlich aber nicht schlimm, da man gut und gerne immer mal wieder in die CD hören kann. Es spielt kaum eine Rolle wo man ansetzt, unterbricht und wieder anknüpft. Die Für JK Broadrick typischen Stimmungen findet man auf "3" auf alle Fälle wieder: melodische, warme und atmosphärische Momente ebenso wie diese statisch-kalten und mechanisch-maschinell wirkenden Industrial Stimmungen...."
