More Info Hinter FIGURE verbirgt sich BRANNON HUNGNESS, ein Teil des OBLIVION ENSEMBLEs, bekannt von der fantastischen CDs und der 7" auf Drone. Er ist in New York City's downtown-Szene aktiv (sharing stage with such acts as Philip Glass, Zeena Parkins and Ben Neil) und hat bereits beim Glenn Branca Ensemble und The Virgil Moorefield Ensemble mitgespielt. Außerdem hat er bei den Noise-Rockern HAMMERHEAD mitgewirkt. Das vorliegende FIGURE-Album entstand mit Hilfe von ELLIOT SHARP und anderen geht in dieselbe unheimlich-bedrückende Richtung wie auch die OBLIVION ENSEMBLE-CD, d.h. Experimental-Collagen, orchestrale Strukturen, aber auch "rockige" Parts. "Many of Figure's concepts deals with vision, exchanging identities, religion through art, and conciousness expansion and have brought about numerous texts and hours of music which will be released in the future."
