"Here's finally Geräuschmanufaktur #25!!! A release which I've been looking forward to since Michael Muennich told me about this beautiful project for the first time.
After his great collaboration with Michael Esposito and GX Jupitter-Larsen on "The Wraiths Of Flying A" (CD out on Firework Editions) and releasing the epic LP "There Must Be A Way Across This River / The Abject" on his very own Fragment Factory, it's his newest journey into the unknown world of the electronic voice phenomena.
For "Chalkboard Dust" Muennich and Esposito created a minimal composition of fieldrecordings, amplified small objects and EVP. Their track gets accompanied by John Duncan's breathtaking but carthatic voice-ritual "Stay Alive" on the b-side.
The formate of a double-sided 7" flexi record wasn't chosen randomly for this release, since it fits almost perfectly for this document in sound of haunted school tales...
