"Proper Vinyl reissue on Grouper's own imprint Yellow Electric of this LP Root Strata originally did in 2007. 'Cover The Windows And The Walls' was the first vinyl only release by Portland, OR. resident Liz Harris under her Grouper moniker. In hindsight this disc can be seen as the first shift in Grouper's sound towards the more in focus songs presented on last years "Dragging A Dead Dear Up A Hill" and away from the analog crunch found on the earlier fields of her discography.
