This album contains no less than 49 tracks, all ranging between half a minute and two minutes. As such you would expect a fragmented listening affair, but not so. Even though the sounds are far more diverse than on Mutsu no hana (his previous album on An’archives), there is a coherence that is very satisfying. Somehow, it passes its 44 minutes in one flow. Smooth and relaxing, but also demanding attention. Droney, but with much air around the music. There’s keyboards-a-plenty, but all with different sounds, some concrete sounds, other instruments, adding up to this most fascinating play.
