"Syrinx is a new group featuring one newcomer to these pages, Ed Plenderleith, and one very familiar face indeed, Jon from Ghoul Detail, who has been absent from these pages for far too long (it's good to have you back Jon).
Syrinx's world is one of industrial rhythms and isolationist ambience. The music is unrepentantly bleak and uncompromising, it's the sound gravel would make if it had a voice. Things are kept fairly low and slow for the duration. This album is all about textures with little attention paid to dynamics.
